Since 2021, GT has introduced production of brushless and brushed motors in its facility in Matamoros, Mexico. This transition is part of GT’s overall strategy of bringing production capabilities closer to
customers.

Introducing GT’s popular motor manufacturing capability to North America has opened doors for GT customers who appreciate the proximity to their own production facilities.

Now all processes are in-house: winding, powder coating, soldering, rotor balancing, controller assembly, and more. GT streamlines logistics and time-to-market for customers who need to respond to
the fast pace of market conditions.

With four assembly lines producing the Brushed Permanent Magnet DC Motor and the Brushless DC Motor, GT can supply 3 million motors per year in North America.
